Store in a dry, airtight container away from humidity. Even slight moisture exposure can cause premature setting and reduce performance. Store rolls separately in resealable bags or cases to extend shelf life.

• Warm water speeds up curing. Cold water slows it down.
• Always use a bald cap, release agent, or barrier cream when working on actors to avoid painful removal.
• Criss-cross bandages in alternating directions to increase strength and prevent weak spots.
• Wear gloves and avoid direct prolonged skin contact as heat may build up during curing.

Plaster bandages, especially those from Gypsona, are a staple material for FX labs, used to create rigid support shells (also known as “mother molds”) over flexible impression materials, like alginate or silicone. These shells lock in fine detail and prevent distortion during the casting process.
