Total tattoo cover can be used to cover tattoos, dark circles, blemishes and any other marks on your skin that you would like to cover. It has no after effects and does not pose a health risk for your skin. It is creamy and can be blended to get a customized tattoo cover. It requires no setting powder or activator, simply sponge or brush on the product to get the desired coverage. A highly desired product that is used intensely in the film and television, Total Tattoo Coverage can be diluted with our JORDANE “Rejuvenator” so that the product can be used as an all-day foundation base.
1) Directions for total tattoo coverage:
- Step 1: Use an astringent or something similar to remove any excess oils or grease from the skins surface for maximum adhesion.
- Step 2: For dark pigmented tattoos start with an orange or rose coloured alcohol paint to neutralize the dense colour. You do not paint it out; just dull the intensity of the blacks. This will dry in seconds.
- Step 3: With a spatula separate a small amount of cream foundation from the individual squares and place it on the inside of the cover and use the lid as a palette. This way you do not contaminate the individual squares of pigment.
- Step 4: With a brush or sponge you can now apply the colour to the model’s skin. Use at least three flesh tones and apply the colours in layers. Allow twenty to thirty seconds for each layer to dry on the skin. The cream is heat activated so the use of a hairdryer will set the colour quicker. Test with you finger; the colour will be smudge proof. Once the layer is dry apply the second. Dry it and continue until the tattoo is covered to your satisfaction.
- Step 5: If the tattoo is to come in contact with wardrobe a fixer spray is recommended for added protection. A water based sealer is preferred, such as Jordane’s Aqua Bamboo.
NOTE: If too much colour is applied it will dry crusty in appearance and can flake off. This dried surface can be thinned and blended with 99% Isopropyl Alcohol. The same can be done to any densely coloured edges. Blend with an alcohol dampened sponge or brush.
2) Directions for scar and discoloured skin coverage:
